Restaurant Wein-Castell in Edesheim

Very tasty food if you don't care about vegetables. That is because it is neglected. I was looking forward to the Brussels sprouts, which unfortunately came out of the freezer and had zero flavor. The red cabbage wasn't freshly prepared either.

It has once again confirmed to us ... Service very friendly and the food simply great ..... Even if it is not possible that often, we would love to come back.

Inattentive service. Drink emptied over pants, not even an apology. No drinks menu and prices for a spritzer of well over 5 euros, not common in the Palatinate. Food was ok, but small portions and inflated prices. Landlady sits at the table with guests without a mask. Hygiene regulations are not observed. Never again!!!

Absolutely amazing place! We were greeted with open arms and had iniatially only planned a one-night stay, but ended up being there for 4 nights. Wonderful restaurant and fantastic wines from the local wineries/Weingutts!

Former Michelin-chef leads this wonderful vintage hotel, both the host and location is incredible.

It was ok but nothing special. There is parking in the yard and you can sit outside, weather permitting. The prices are lifted.

Unfriendly hotel. The rooms are old. Wi-Fi is available. The room was tidy but not clean. In the bathroom at the shower I found mold in the door the matching cobwebs. When asked if and when we can have breakfast was reacted dismissively as if it makes too much trouble. no thanks
